Sierra de Aracena. Alájar- Linares through Linares mountain pass. Huelva trekking routes

Time: Two hours.

Leaving Alájar town there is a track wich makes its way up Linares mountain pass, among walls separating different orchards and country estates. After crossing the small bank river to take the track to the right through a holm oak grove, we shall arrive at the mountain pass just along the road Alájar- Linares. When the road start descending, there is a lane to the right which descends abruptly at first in a badly-preserved strech surrounded by tall bushes, and then we shall arrive at a smoother, arid area.

The lane runs on parallel to the river bank, through a forest, leading to Linares orchards.
