Sierra de Aracena. Los Marines - Linares de la Sierra. Huelva trekking routes

Time: Two hours.

We shall leave Los Marines towards Portugal. One km. father, there is a quarry on the left, and then a track.

The track runs of softly up in order to reach the Sierra de San Ginés hill, with an impressive view of Linares town in the mountains, and the Sierra del Oso, Sierra Solana and the Andevalo´s country- side.

From here we shall descend along the southern slope of the Sierra de la Virgen, and then we shall walk on down a gorge wooded by alders and poplars, surrounded by oak and holm oak trees. After walking on past a country estate, we shall go down a road which to the left leads to Aracena, and from here we shall see a thick, inexpugnable rockrose bush. After crossing the road, the track runs on down Linare´s orchards in order to reach the local road which leads to the town.
