Sierra de Aracena. Almonaster- Escalada village. Huelva trekking routes

Time: Two hours.

Leaving the town towards Alájar, about 200 m. to the right, there is an old forest track, already asphalted, which leads to the only recreational area in the Sierra Aracena, situated in the environs of Escalada village.

This track provides the possibility of a pleasant relaxed walking tour. The aforementioned recreational area belonging to IARA has tables, benches and drinking water, and so is an excellent place for a picnic. The villages is partly surrounded by a pleasant pine grove.

From the village many tracks serve as an excellent starting point for many excursions, since the roads are very far from it.
