El Marquesado de Zenete. Guadix- Purullena. Granada trekking

Time: Two hous.
Leaving Guadix by the national road nº 324, we shall link with road
nº 342 northwards.
A couple of km. farther we arrive at Purullena, where we can see places
of great interest. There is a legend which says that a “curse”
prevents the soil from being fertile.
The ground is formed by silicate of ceramic lava, which makes its impenetrable
and hostile.
This place is inhabited by digger birds, reptiles and xerophillous plants.
Dryness and farming are intermingled in this ancestral and magical landscape
worth being visited.
