The Virgin de la Pena pilgrimage, though is the most beautiful and long-established event, one that for its grandeur has been declared of national tourist Interest in Andalusia. A spectacular sword dance is held during the pilgrimage and the women dress in ancient costumes. You will then have the good fortune to view the impressive polychromatic dome of the hermitage and a stained glass depiction of the appearance of the Virgin to shepherd.
