Church of San Martín

One of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in Segovia. Of Mozarab origin it has one of the most beautiful Romanesque atriums in all of Segovia, that surrounds the church on three of its sides.

The current building is still mainly Romanesque, with Romanesque decorated apses and façades and ornately decorated archivolts. The three-sectioned church tower lies in the centre of the nave. The atrium has semicircular arches that are supported by columns made up of Romanesque capitals.

Church of La Trinidad

A Romanesque temple with nave, tower, and tambour apse with large windowsIn addition, there is a fortified gallery. Its main fronts combine flat archivolts and moulds on columns. Inside the church of note are the windows and the series of arches on twin columns of the walls.

The entrance has a half-moon arch with big voussoir. On the balconies there is the coat of arms of the Hoz, owners of the house. The hallway and patio are decorated with tiles from Talavera painted with different buildings of Segovia.

Temporary exhibitions.

Murallas (Walls)

Walls of remote origin. A good part of the walled part coming from Alcázar, surrounded Segovia during the Medieval period.

Rebuilt in the 11th century, its stonework is of limestone masonry with big granite ashlars and turrets, and a series of blind arches. The door of San Andrés between the two robust towers is conserved along with the doors of San Cebrián and Santiago, both with horseshoe arches and main body of bolstered stalls. Originally it had two more doors that are now no longer there.
