Museo de Salamanca
Opening hours:
From Monday to Saturday, from 9:30 to 14:00. Sunday, from 9:45 to 14:00.
Situated in an old Gothic-Renaissance house belonging to the Álvarez Abarcas.
It contains a good collection of Flemish panels, altarpieces,
paintings, sculptures and archaeological items. The jewel in the
crown is a piece by Luis de Morales entitled "Lamentation".
Museo de Historia de la Ciudad
Opening hours:
Tuesday to Thursday, from 10:00 to 13:00. Friday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 13:00 and 17:30 to 19:00.Closed Sundays and public holidays.
Installed in the town's former Episcopalian Palace.
It exhibits archaeological remains, sepultures and other pieces found in the town. The case from the Duke of Wellington's campaign or the legacy of the Salamanca musician Tomás Bretón are noteworthy.
Free admission.
Museo de Art Decó y Art Nouveau
Opening hours:
Tuesday to Friday, from 11:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 19:00. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, from 11:00 to 20:00. Closed on Mondays.
The Casa de Lis, built in 1905, is the finest example of modernism found in the town.
Inside, the museum exhibits 19 decorative art collections. More
than 1,600 pieces, dating from the 19th to 20th centuries, where
you can find Lalique glass, porcelain dolls, enamels, bronzes,
paintings, furniture, and a Fabergé egg.
Admission is € 1.8.
Casa-Museo Unamuno
Opening hours:
Tuesdays to Fridays from 11:00 to 13:30 and 16:30 to 18:30. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 11:00 to 13:30. Closed on Mondays.
Located in the residence normally used by the rectors of the University of Salamanca, the house-museum dates from the 18th century.
Here lived the writer Miguel de Unamuno (1864-1936), rector at
the said university for fourteen years. Furniture, personal objects,
memories, books, and other objects related to the author of "Niebla"
are kept today.

Museo Taurino
Opening hours:
In winter from 18:00 to 21:00. Saturday, from 12:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 19:00. Sundays and public holidays from 12:00 to 14:00.
A museum that pays homage to the world of bullfighting in one of the Spanish provinces where most bulls are bred for bullfighting.
This theme museum will show us everything about the animal, bullfighting and the context. Bullfighter's suits, photographs, red capes, swords, banderillas and capes emulate the chronicle of a bullfight in a big bullring.
Free for pensioners and under 12s.
