General information
Teruel is located in the south of Aragon , the old town preserves an important medieval legacy.
Places like the "Plaza del Torico" , the Aqueduct of the arches and the well known "Ovalo" promenade.References of a more modern Teruel appear in the suburbs, where there are the Conference hall and "Dinopolis" (theme park about dinosaurs).
After various prehistoric and Iberian civilisations settled in the area in the origin ,it was in the middle ages when this city experienced an important development when a wall was constructed around the city , a christian land bordering on the Muslim kingdom of Valencia.
The Islamic influence left in Teruel , Aragón one the most important expression ot the Mudejar style, fusing Gothic with Muslim architectural elements.
