LOCATION: Sierra Bermeja. Estepona- Ascent of
Pico Reales.
TIME: Eight hours.
DESCRIPTION
We shall leave Estepona along Algatocín road. A few km.
farther there is an asphalted track to the left wich links up
with another track. We shall take it to the left as it climbs
towards one of the spurs of the Reales peak, 1.440 m. high. The
landscape in Sierra Bermeja is quite strange and attractive with
many plants, stones and trees such as firs and other botanic species.
From the top of the Reales we shall see the Mediterranean sea
in all its splendour. In order to reach the top we shall make
our way round the mountain walking up along its western slope.
