DESCRIPTION
We shall leave Antequera southwards along the road that leads
to Abdalajis valley, until reaching a junction that leads to Villanueva
de la Concepción.
At about 200 m., to the left, there is another junction. That
will be our route.
The track leads to Benavista country house, where La Escaleruela
mountain pass can be seen.
This mountain pass is situated between the Sierra de Chimenea
and Sierra Pelada, both in the Torcal de Antequera. At the place,
there are different formations of inexplicable origin.
From here, we must walk on westwards, round the mountains on our
right, until reaching La Chimenea mountains. Some knowledge in
orientation is required at this point.
After having walked for about 2 km. Round these mountains, we
shall reach Fuentefría country house, from where can see
the mountains, towering in the northeast.
From Fuentefría country house, we must walk on esatwards
in order to reach the top of the Camorro Alto, 369 m. high.
