Malaga Going out
Malaga is a very cheerful town, and the "locos veranos", the
"crazy summers" at its beaches, are famous in
all the land. But not only during the summer-season, all
the year through you will find an animated nightlife. Going
out belongs to an Andalusian's everyday-life like Flamenco
music. In the following parts of the town it is for certain
that you won't get bored:
ZONA EL PALO
At the beautiful promenade along the sea-side you fill find
many fish-restaurants as well as fashionable locals. In
a warm summer-night the terraces are an ideal starting-point
for your exploration of Malaga by night.
ZONA LA MALAGUETA
This is a more modern part of the town, with several fashionable
locals for young people.
ZONA PEDRAGALEJO
The many pubs in this part of town are among the most fashionable.
On the other hand you will find here traditional bars and
restaurants to enjoy classical Andalusian kitchen.
PLAZA DE UNCIBAY
You will find most of Malaga's nightlife northeast of the
cathedral along and around calles Granada and Beatas and
the streets circling Plaza de uncibay.
PEDREGALEJO
At weekend and holidays dozens of youngful disco-bars fill
the crowded streets in these areas with a cacophony of sound
and over the summer - its dead out of season - the scene
spreads out along the seafront to the suburdb of Pedregalejo.
Here the streets just behing the beach host most of the
action, and dozens of discos and smaller bars lie along
and off the main street, Juan Sebastian Elcano.
