Vitoria cuisine
This Basque capital has an interesting cuisine, which has recently opted for adding a creative touch to traditional dishes. It includes fish from the Cantabrian Sea, lamb, haricot beans, vegetable stews, ajoarriero (dish prepared with cod, olive oil, peppers, eggs and garlic), sausages and potatoes, exquisite baked goods and exceptional Riojan wines.
