Murcia information

Nature Reserves

Murcia has two areas of special interest for nature. The nearest to the city is the El Valle Nature Reserve, which is a popular leisure- time venue for appreciative citizens. It coverts 1.900 hectares and has a Wild- Life Protection Unit and forestry commission nurseries.

The other Nature Reserve is the El Puerto- Carrascoy mountain range, where El Majal Blanco Visitor Centre is to be found. There are facilities for the specific lectures to be given in the Visitor Centre of this area.
