Els Algairens, Cala Fontanelles, Platja
d´es Tancats, Cala Carbó and platja d´es Bots
Access: In the above mentioned residential area, follow the sign
to La Vall, which also mentions the large beach of Els Algaraiens.
Next to this beach are the small beaches of Cala Carbó,
Es Tancats, Es Bots and Cala Fontanelles, which can only be reached
on foot. The latter is a good place for sheltering boats if there
is a storm.

Els algaraiens is one of the largest sand beaches (450
metres) splendid due to its pinkish colour and dunes.
After paying 5 euros you can drive to a parking lot that
has no shade.
Then you have to walk along a path for about 1 km. If
you´ve taken some food with you you can sit at the
tables or on the wooden benches under the pine trees.
Although it says at the entrance that the car park is
open until 5:30 pm it usually stays open for one more
hour.
