Many brooks cross its municipal territory as well as the Rivers Eliche and Frío, which together supply the water of the quiebrajano reservoir, enjoy its attractions in a rather unusual fiesta that was instituted by Pope Pio V, after the triumph over the Turks in Lepanto in 1571. this is the fiesta of la virgin del Rosario. Its most special moment is the procession of the image accompanied by the brotherhoods of halberdiers and musketeers. The salvos of the musketeers resound while the pickaxes of the halberdiers lend a note of colour thanks to the ribbons decorating them. Also don’t let the opportunity slip away for in-depth exploitation of the Sierra Sur or to buy a sample of osier handiwork. There is no other like it.
