It is the "Door of Andalucia". Being the first
population that there is between Murcia and Andalucia
coming by Aguilas.
It is a zone of summering and it has a hotel capacity
that is increasing year to year.
The coastal village of San Juan De Los Terreros is part
of the larger agglomaration of Pulpi. The village is made
up of numerous bays and coves, almost all with sandy beaches.
San Juan De Los Terreros has recently seen a considerable
amount of development, most of it tastefully done, and
as a result there is now a florishing tourism trade, albeit
still on a small and relatively quiet scale.
San Juan is only 8 kms from Aguilas ( in Murcia ) and
the good roads connecting San Juan to Vera PLaya and other
towns on the costa de Almeria make San Juan a new favourite
for holiday makers and home buyers alike.
